About

I made this page to showcase different pictures that were taken of my siblings. This is where the title of the page comes from. It started in 2004 when my dad registered the domain and published a fairly unatractive site (in my opinion), but it got the job done. I think that I started working on it in about 2007 or 2008. It did not look much better then, but the new page was slightly updated compared to the last one and it looked a little nicer. I was only then starting to learn how to code in HTML. After that, I did not really do any work on the site at all and that is how it stayed until now, in 2012. I first made the site look a lot better, since the previous layout of the page was not very good. I did not like it that much and I then started thinking of new ways to make the page better. I then thought of having a background that would be a photograph that I had taken, since I like photography and I wanted to find some other way to show off my work. I started out with one picture just to see what it would look like and I ended up liking it. I also wanted to be able to use CSS in new ways that I had not tried, since that was one of the other new things that I was learning. First, I made the individual pages. Then, I added the background switcher, which was very messy, and required going to different pages to change it, even though there was an only one character difference between each page. I then started to get better at using JavaScript (I was still learning it when I started redisigning the page,) and came up with the background changer that is used right now, along with using some cool CSS styling and transitions. Sorry if the pictures are a little outdated. I have asked each person to pick new pictures (I'm too lazy) for their page. Nobody has, so they will have to live with having pictures of them from a few years ago.
